Weekly Roundup - August 17, 2013

This past week was just plain busy.  We finally settled on the house are just going through the financing steps.  We finished drilling that last well and I got to head home Wednesday night and then back to working on documents for the financing.  What a mess.   I'll be glad when all of the house stuff is done and we can officially close on it.  I'll definitely take some pictures and share those whenever we get moved in.

And the markets took a bit of a tumble this past week as well.  I got a trio of stock analyses out this past week on Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, International Business Machines, and Automatic Data Processing.  If I had free capital to invest right now I'd be very interested in starting positions in IBM and V.

In other news, the US Government officially acknowledged that Area 51 existed by de-classifying documents pertaining to the U-2 spy plane.  And weather balloons and spy planes accounted for half of the UFO sightings during the 1950's and 1960's.  Um....what made up the other half?  Leave it to the government to clarify something by making it more confusing and sound more like a coverup.  I don't think anyone not related to the government could deny that Area 51 existed.  However the activities there have always been up for debate.

Thanks to everyone that stopped by, commented, or mentioned Passive-Income-Pursuit this past week.
