Weekly Roundup - March 7, 2015
It feels great to be back and writing more regularly again. As most of you know I had to take some time off to be with my son since we knew he was going to require a lengthy hospital stay after being born. But he's still here and fighting which is all we can really ask for. February was mainly filled with getting everything caught up from the time that I was gone because I didn't track anything at all. Now I'm caught up and it's back to just maintenance which makes everything a whole lot easier. Another month is over and done with and we're already through the first week of March which is hard to believe. Time is absolutely flying by but that's why my wife and I, and many of you, are striving to reach financial independence. To reclaim our time and just slow down the pace of life.
In case you missed them here's the posts from Passive-Income-Pursuit from this past week.

Thanks for the mention JC. It's great to see you writing more regularly again. Remember a year ago when we were each writing three or four posts/articles a week. Seems like forever ago :o/

Bryan,
DeleteIt feels good to start writing again and I hope to keep up the 3-4 articles per week pace. So much has changed in the past year.
Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for the mention, JC. Some great set of links here...will be adding them to my reading list.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend
R2R
R2R,
DeleteHope you enjoyed them.
Thanks for sharing your weekly roundup JC. I follow a majority of the blogger listed here so have come across a few but will definitely catch up on those I haven't read yet this weekend.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy the rest of your weekend! AFFJ
AFFJ,
DeleteThere's just so many to follow and in the time I was gone it seems like another 10-20 have sprung up. Been trying to catch up on them but there's just never enough time for work, writing, and reading. Another couple hours a day would be great. Or all of the hours of every day once I reach FI!
Thanks for stopping by!
JC,
ReplyDeleteAppreciate the inclusion.
Good to see you posting regularly again. Hope all remains well with the family!
Best regards.
DM,
DeleteNo problem and it feels good to be back. It's a nice outlet/distraction. Plus it's a great way to continue learning. Things are looking better with Luke but he's still got a long way to go. Still walking that very fine line but I think he's in a much better spot.
Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for the mention JC. Good to hear your son is still doing well, and you guys are keeping strong. My thoughts are with you.
ReplyDeleteIntegrator,
DeleteHe's better but I know he's still got a long way to go before we can think of taking him home. He's come a lot farther than any of them thought he would and even though he's only 3.5 months old he's taught me so much about resiliency and strength. He's going to be a handful when we get him home.
Thanks for stopping by!
It's been great having you back, JC. Glad to see you on SA again too :) Thanks for the awesome reading list and inclusion. Hope you had some nice family time over the weekend :)
ReplyDeleteRyan,
DeleteI hope to get another one or two articles out on SA for next week but we'll see what my work schedule looks like. Things are about to change up so who knows what's coming. It was great being home and with my wife and son but it's just never enough.
Thanks for stopping by!
Great reading list -- thanks for compiling it! I'm glad you're caught up now -- maintenance is easier than trying to catch up when you've fallen behind. Take care!
ReplyDeleteFerdi,
DeleteI'm so glad to be back in maintenance mode. Being off for 3 months made it a huge pain to get everything caught up.
Thanks for stopping by!
