Procter & Gamble: The Ultimate SWAN Stock $PG

Dividend | Stock | Investing | Valuation

Procter & Gamble (PG) is a behemoth in the consumer staples sector dwarfing most competitors in terms of business size. P&G has been around since 1837 and now sells its products in over 180 countries around the world.

P&G's products can be found in just about every household in America. Some of P&G's brands include Dawn, Tide, Gain, Bounty, Pampers, Charmin, Crest, Always, and way too many to list.

What I love about consumer staples is that once a habit is formed by the consumer that this is the brand that I use they are usually customers for life. Habits are notoriously hard to break, and consumer staples companies like P&G have benefitted from that.

Dividend History

P&G is no stranger for dividend growth investors with a rich history of growing their dividends year after year after year after year...you get the point. According to the CCC list, P&G has grown their dividend for 65 consecutive years giving them the illustrious title of Dividend King.
