Another week has come and gone and it seems like each one goes by faster than the previous. Everything is settled with the upcoming house purchase so now we just have to wait until closing. We're about 1.5 weeks away and my wife and I are more than ready to get this done with. I'm just glad that all of the financing is taken care of and now there's nothing else to do other than move a little bit more money from my savings account to my checking account for closing. It's going to be so exciting to get to move forward on this.
In my portfolio news I only made a small purchase of Visa this past week and there wasn't much else to talk about. The markets on the whole have become much more choppy than they were throughout most of the year so far and I'm hoping that with the talks of Fed tapering, Syria, the next debt limit debate, or some other unknown event will cause a nice 5-10% pullback to give some much more appealing prices on some high quality companies. I was able to get two stock analyses out this week. One on Visa, which I clearly like since I purchased some as well, and the other on Baxter International. Baxter is at an appealing price and if I had the capital I'd be interested in starting a position because I have very little exposure to healthcare.
Thanks to everyone that stopped by Passive-Income-Pursuit this past week. I hope that I was able to help educate or inspire you all and that you each have a wonderful weekend.
There were plenty of great posts from my fellow bloggers this past week and I just want to highlight some as a way to say thanks.
