Joined the Yakezie Challenge
In order to reach some of my blogging goals for 2013 I've joined the Yakezie Challenge in hopes of keeping myself focused on the blog and building readership. It'll be a fun 6 months.
Pursuing Financial Independence through Dividend Growth Investing and other Passive Income.
Good luck with the challenge Jonathon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jon! Should be a great challenge and it fits right in with my goals for 2013!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Welcome to the challenge!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks should be a good challenge and it's even better that it aligns with my goals for 2013!
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
I've been following you for a long time, but welcome to the challenge ;)
ReplyDeleteBest of luck in reaching all your blogging goals in 2013! Looks like you were able to migrate to the new URL without skipping a beat. Nice work!
FI,
DeleteIt should be a good challenge. Just got my rank, I'm only 18.6 mill. Looks like I got a ways to go. I kept google/blogspot as the host for now and will probably switch it later. Thanks for the help and for following along. Best of luck in your challenge too.
I'd like to try the Yakezie challenge one day. If my humble blog makes it past 6 months, I might try for it.
ReplyDeleteBefore I wanted to even think about doing more with the blog, I figured at least 6 months to a year of blogging even while the readership was lower was necessary to make sure I even enjoyed it enough. Now that I'm a little over a year in and found that it's fun and motivating, it's time to try and grow the blog. We'll see what ends up happening. Best of luck with your own blog and thanks for stopping by!
DeleteCongratulations on entering the challenge!. I've just entered it also. I'll be looking forward to following your progress. I also blog about dividend investing as well (I'm trying to save up enough to fund my own elusive dividend retirement one day!). Best of luck with your dividend goals as well.
ReplyDeleteIntegrator,
DeleteI truly think that DGI is one of the best ways to go about investing. It's not going to get you rich overnight but those opportunities are hard to find anyways. Best of luck with the challenge and getting to $50k in dividends by 2018. I'll keep checking in to see how you're doing.
Thanks for stopping by!
In just over 2 weeks I've gone from 18.3 mill rank to 2.9 mill. Moving on up, err..down.
ReplyDeleteJust under 2.3 mill overall, but I've broken 200k in the US. Awesome. Still got plenty of work to do though.
